Recently we received several emails from our customers – users of DVD Photo Slideshow.
With similar statement:
A. ….when I enter them into a slide show only about 75% of the photo shows, usually chopping top or bottom. What can I do to keep entire picture since it is an old family book.
B. …. I am trying to produce slideshow but having problems with portrait photo
cutting off the head and landscape whereby it does not show total image. The program is good apart from the problems mentioned. Can you advise….
C. …the pictures are too large. You only see the bottom half….

This kind of issue usually happens on photos, which have been turned 90 degrees.
The solution is actually quite simple, though.
Open the program, click the “organize” tab, then you will see the last two options:
Photo Scale to fit and Photo Scale to fill.
Let’s take a photo of mine for example and see what’s the difference between them.
Turned 90 degree:
Then I add both of them into the program DVD Photo Slideshow. And choose “Photo Scale to fill” , then click on “preview”:
Switch to “Photo Scale to fit” :
To make it better, you can also delete the pan&zoom effect unter “transition&music” tab. It is on the right side of this tab:
Tip: You can choose different effects and preview it, until you find the right one for your photos and fits your purposes.
